Ten years since its founding, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation has organized many exhibitions in the country as well as collaborated with domestic and foreign organizations, individuals, art schools and exhibitions of art pieces bring great success. To build and develop Le Ba Dang Art Foundation to become a venue for cultural and artistic activities in order to the needs of enjoy a work of art of the Vietnam and international tourists.
In 2009:
In October 2009, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation co-ordinated with the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to organize exhibitions of works by Le Ba Dang artist with the theme of “Le Ba Dang Art “.
In 2011:
On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Unification, International Labor Day, Uncle Ho’s 121st birthday and to honor a talented overseas Vietnamese people, on April 28th 2011, Vietnam Museum of Revolution and Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation organized an exhibition of artworks on the “Revolutionary War in Le Ba Dang Art” at Vietnam Museum of Revolution.
From July 1st 2011 to September 30th 2011, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation held an exhibition of works which Le Ba Dang donated in France to the representatives of Thua Thien Hue leaders with the name “Le Ba Dang Space”
In 2015:
On February 4, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation held an exhibition with the theme of “Flowers of all things” on the occasion of the New Year 2015. The exhibition introduced 50 works, including 23 works by Le Ba Dang artist on the subject of Woman and Flower with oil painting, embossing and gold printing techniques. The remaining 27 works are painted by 6 women artists in Hue city which on oil paintings, silk, acrylic …
On March 7,Thua Thien- Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Le Ba Dang Art Foundation held a commemoration of the death of artist Le Ba Dang to acknowledge the artist’s contribution to the country’s art and pay tribute to his departure.
On April 24, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Unification and Traditional Trade Festival 2012, the center organized the exhibition “War in Le Ba Dang Art”.
On Vietnamese Family Day 28/6, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation organized festivals to create and display art exhibitions with the theme of “Love bracelets” of children.
On December 5, the center collaborated with three artists from Mahasarakham University Thailand and Hue University College of Arts held an exhibition with the theme of “On the horizon”.
In 2016:
On April 20, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Le Ba Dang Art Foundation, the center held the opening of the exhibition “Le Ba Dang – a pure Vietnamese soul” and the conference “Promoting the value of Le Ba Dang’s art”.
On April 28, Le Ba Dang Art Foundation organized the Artwork creation festival and display works with the theme “Garden of 100 eggs” by artisans, artists and students of Hue University College of Arts.
On the ocassion of Celebrating International Museum Day on May 18th,2016; Lebadang Art Foundation cooperated with museums including: Historycal and Revolutionary Museum; Ho Chi Minh Museum; Hue Cultural Museum; Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities; Nguyen Dynasty Porcelain Museum and Diem Phung Thi Art Exhibition House held a workshop with the theme: “Museum and Cultural Landscape”. This is an opportunity to meet and exchange experiences between people who work on preservation museums and promoting heritage values. Strengthening the close cooperation between the museums in Thua Thien Hue province.
Collaborated with collector Le Duy Truong to hold an Exhibition Dictionaries with the theme: “The Journey” on the day celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage on November 23rd 2016. On this occasion, we also successfully held a book auction to create a scholarship fun and awarded scholarships to 18 students from Literature Faculty of College of Education and History Faculty of Hue College of Science. In addition to, the Foundation also held a talking “The journey of Vietnamese language” was presented by the cultural researcher Buu Y.
In 2017:
Respond to Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2017, the LeBaDang Art Foundation co-operated with Hue College of Arts; Assoc. Prof- Dr. Trang Thanh Hien – Lecturer of Vietnam Fine Arts University and Ky Huu Phuoc- Folk Artist of Sinh village folk painting organized an activity with the theme of “Displaying and Experiencing in making Vietnamese Folk Painting” to create an art playground for all ages, to help the young generation can understand the values and meanings of Vietnamese folk paintings, to honor and evoke the love of traditional culture. This activity has been appreciated by people love art, domestic and foreign tourists; Especially, it attracted a large number of students, children to participate in making the folk painting. The activity takes place from April 27th, 2017 to May 1st, 2017.
Celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of September 2 (1945-2017); commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (1957-2017); implementing the activity plans for 2017; LeBaDang and DiemPhungThi Art Foundation co-operated with the Fine Arts Association of Vietnam in Thua Thien Hue and the Fine Arts Association of Thua Thien Hue organized an art exhibition with the title “The color of autumn 2017”. The exhibition introduced 37 new works are created in 2016 and 2017 by 28 artists who are members of Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thua Thien Hue and The Fine Arts Association of Hue. This is an activity that creates the art exchange, cohesion between art units; between the members of the Fine Arts Association of Vietnam in Thua Thien Hue and the Fine Arts Association of Hue. The opening exhibition on July 28th, 2017 and ending on August 4th, 2017.
Celebrate the 13rd Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (23/11); Le Ba Dang and Diem Phung Thi Art Foundation collaborated with two collectors Nguyen Van Anh and Nguyen Huu Hoang held an art exhibition with the theme of “Meeting”. The exhibition introduced 51 works by 36 Vietnamese artists through periods. The exhibition also created a meeting, exchange and association between the collectors of paintings; between the lovers of art; simultaneously, to enhance the exchange and coordination between units and individuals to organize cultural and art activities. The exhibition from November 22nd, 2017 to December 7th, 2017.
On the occasion of anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Association Day; Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Sports collaborated with Hue College of Arts organized an art exhibition with theme of “Reunion” at Le Ba Dang and Diem Phung Thi Art Foundation. The exhibition “Reunion” displayed and introduced 39 artworks with the high artistic value of the typical authors of generations of lecturers and students from the Hue College of Arts and a number of artworks were collected by the Department of Culture and Sports, as well as artworks of young artists donated to prepare to establishing a Museum of Fine Arts in Hue. The exhibition takes place from December 10th, 2017 to December 15th, 2017.
